My photo
I live in the beautiful state of Wisconsin. I'm a wife and stay at home mom of 3 sons. I love to paint, sew, knit, stitch and create. I enjoy selling my creations at local fairs, ebay and here on my blog. When I not crafting I love to decorate my home. I'm always moving furniture, painting or switching things around. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day~*~Leanne~*~

Getting Ready for a "Sew" Day.....

The snow is coming so I had to prepare for a "sew" day.

I have to say many of you quilt bloggers have inspired me to start quilting.
I always wanted to be a quilter.  I've done a few projects many years ago but never considered myself a quilter.

So to get me started....

I signed up for  my very first B.O.M. through Primitive Gatherings Quilt Shop (I have my eye on another one).
It's How Does Your Garden Grow by Norma Whaley....I love her quilts!
It's wool appliqué triangles with homespun triangles.

I have the first two triangles done.

The third and fourth triangles are prepped and ready for stitching.

I'm going to do the stitching tonight and tomorrow.

I'm mostly a stitcher so this project is a little out of my comfort zone.
What I lack in knowledge I'll make up with enthusiasm.

Enjoy your day,
Leanne

This quilt is so eye-catching - and I love the mix of wool & cotton. You've made a great start on it!
