At the beginning of summer I signed up to participate in a sew along. I have never done anything like this before but it sounded fun and it involved Wool so I couldn't resist.
Lynda of Primitive Pieces by Lynda is the hostess.
She used one of her patterns...too cute.
I have a few of her patterns...love them!
Click here to visit her blog.
This is how the piece looked when I got it in the mail.
So far 5 or 6 people worked on it.
This is how it looks after I added my pennies.
I'm loving this table topper.
I just sent it off to the next stitcher.
Then one more person and Lynda will finish it.
After it's done one of the gals that worked on the piece will win the table topper.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my name is the one chosen.
Enjoy your day,
Leanne

Wow----it's sure looking good. Sorry, but I'm hoping that I win, I was the first to add the pennies. It sure was fun to do no matter who wins.
wow! what a fun project! i love wool too..enjoy your day!!
Very pretty. I have always wondered just what a sew-along is. Many people working on the project, and then one wins it! How fun and nice :)
What a fun project to join in!
Hope you win!!!

Hi Leanne,
What a great idea...I've seen stitchery pieces that are passed along but not an applique piece.
Keeping my fingers crossed that you will win it
Blessings,
