Trying Something New...kind of.....

The weather here is still winter like here so I've been stitching and stitching.
I always stitch my penny rugs with black but I thought I would try something new...to me.

I used beige thread to make these penny rugs.

Wow it sure makes a difference.

I like the look of both.
This black with beige is a winner!
I just thought I would show some of my star penny rugs.

I just love mixing different colors together.

I also joined facebook as Harvest Moon by the Lake.
I thought it would be fun to post what I've been working on.
Next I think I'll try twitter.

Enjoy your day,
Leanne

Very nice Leanne,
I always use the dark tans for my Penny Rugs...something I started with and kept on doing.

Goodness still snow huh? Ours has finally totally melted - whew...thought it would never do that as the piles were taller than my husband.
We have a down pour of rain right now and it's dark out!
Supposed to get a taste of snow again sometime this week but I doubt it will stick.

Love all your rugs,
Many blessings,
Karen
