Valentine Hearts

I just thought I would show you what I'm working on while watching the footballs games.

 

Valentine penny rugs and runners.

I love how these hand dyed wool hearts look on this patterned black background.

 

I like the hearts on this black runner too.

 

 

 

 

We're all excited to see the Packers play today. The boys and their friends are all here.

They think we're the lucky house.

Everyone has staked out their seat. They've been sitting in front of the tv all afternoon...we're a football family.

Keep your fingers crossed that they win!

The closer the game the faster I stitch.

Snowman, snowgirl....

It's a beautiful day!

The sun is shining...

the snow is melting

and the only snowmen that are around are the ones I made.

 

 

I just love his big smile, the little jacket and fluffy hat.

 

 You know me I love to stitch.

 

and why are they always called snowmen.

 

 

Why can't we have snowgirl?

 

This mitten fabric is too cute.

Next....Valentine's Day

I have most of the Christmas decorations down.  They come down much faster then putting them up.  I can't believe the mess from all the glitter and pine needles. The house looks so bare and big without all the Christmas decorations.

 

I've been looking through all my red and pink wool so I can start on Valentine's day penny rugs.

 

Working on some red with snowmen.  It's still winter here and it will be winter for awhile.

 

Big Hearts.

 Mittens.

 And small hearts....

 and pink hearts.

 

I've been spending the cold evenings stitching and loving it!
